Magnum Contracting’s Fall 2020 Updates!

It’s hard to believe that fall is already upon us and that the holiday season is just around the corner. It has been quite the year! Despite the hardships in the world, business has remained strong and looks well as we enter into a new year. We have continued to grow all divisions of the company and get stronger in our management of resources. I want each of you to know that as I make decisions on the direction and future of our company, I always have everyone’s best interests in mind.

I truly want Magnum Contracting to be a company that allows everyone’s lives to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. I would like to conclude with a poem that my grandfather Cox wrote in the year 1954. I think it relates well with the Thanksgiving season right around the corner and can be applied to our daily lives.

God bless,
Brad Cox

I Shall Pause
by Ralph Cox (1954)

I shall pause for a moment,
Each and every day.
I shall pause for a quiet moment,
To bow my head and pray.

Through the hurried hours,
Of this busy road we trod.
I shall pause for a moment,
And give thanks unto my God.

For the promise of each sunrise,
For the sunset’s splendor, too.
For the blessing of a gentle rain,
Or a sky of cloudless blue.

I shall pause and I shall listen,
to the bird’s sweet melodies.
To the music of the whispering winds,
Echoing through the trees.

I shall pause for a moment,
I shall take the time to see,
All the wonders of His handiwork,
That with love He made for me.

I shall pause for a moment,
Count the blessings each day brings.
I shall pause for a quiet moment,
And give thanks for all these things.
