Spring, and the second quarter of the year, brings with it a sense of renewal and rebirth. The construction industry is ready! Our team at Magnum Contracting is coming off of a wet, hard winter, but is ready to step into the sunlight and get the work done this spring!

Here’s an update from CEO Brad Cox:
“Rain, Rain go away, come again another day.” This nursery rhyme could not have been more true this past quarter. The rain has caused our projects and schedules to be delayed well beyond what we would have thought. On the bright side I hope each of you had some additional time to spend with family and friends… because when the weather breaks we will be wide open! Even though the weather has caused construction delays our preconstruction team has an abundance of work lined up for the balance of the year. Our Equipment maintenance team has been working hard to prepare the tractors for the Summer. In closing, I look forward to the year ahead and the future of Magnum Contracting. As we continue to expand our services it will bring new opportunity to each of us. As always thank you for your hard work and be safe.
God bless,
Brad Cox

James 1:2 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

What else did we do this quarter?? Even with the rain, a whole lot happened!

  • Our General Contracting division closed out another successful project with the completion of the new headquarters for Acorn Tree Care!
  • We got some great new equipment… meet our latest additions to the fleet: A D61PXi-24 & PC138LC-11!
  • We got started on big projects like Summit Lake & Commerce Station!
  • And last, but definitely not least, Magnum added to their membership with the AGC Georgia as a General Contractor!

We’re so excited for what the upcoming Quarter has in store for Magnum Contracting. Keep following us on Facebook, Instagram, and right here on the blog for more updates!
