Reimagining Mulberry Rock Park
Magnum Contracting was thrilled to improve Mulberry Rock Park in Paulding County. The park features an enclosed pavilion, multi-purpose fields, three miles of pedestrian trails, single-table shelters, group pavilions, a community garden, and a playground. Our recent involvement in Phase 2 successfully streamlined the park’s accessibility by introducing a roadway loop, providing a direct connection from the park’s entrance to an exit that leads back to the start.
Our scope of work encompassed the installation of a significant 144-foot concrete box culvert to facilitate creek crossing, accompanied by extensive site improvements such as erosion control, mass grading, curb and gutter construction, asphalt paving, and the development of sidewalks, trails, and fencing. Preparations for a new playground area have been made through fine grading. Anticipating future growth, we’ve meticulously rough-graded and created a creek crossing foundation, demonstrating our careful planning and preparation for Phase 3 of the park’s ongoing enhancements.
