WATERFRONT RECREATION PARK IN PAULDING COUNTY
Magnum Contracting is developing Richland Creek Park, a public recreational facility in Paulding County, Georgia. This project is designed to provide direct access to the area’s natural reservoir and beautiful surrounding landscape. The development includes essential elements such as new roadway infrastructure and parking areas, a network of pedestrian pathways, and an impressive elevated boardwalk system.
Water access is a central feature of the park, with designated kayak and canoe launch points, a fishing pier, and a floating dock. The site work includes clearing, grading, erosion control, concrete and asphalt paving, five bioretention ponds, and three retaining walls to manage stormwater and support the park’s integration with the existing natural environment.
Magnum’s scope also includes structural components essential to the park experience: boardwalks, piers, and docks built for both durability and everyday use. With 90 parking spaces and 1,000 linear feet of pipe, the site is designed to handle steady public traffic. When complete, it will serve as a multi-use outdoor destination for passive and active recreation.
